My name is Lisa and I am running for Summit County Assessor. I've lived and worked in Summit County for the last 16 years. The last 10 years I've dedicated to the Assessor’s Office where I've always worked hard to expand my skill level and responsibilities. I am a hardworking public servant with a vision to promote equity, trust and transparency. I am the only certified appraiser running to serve you!
Experienced Appraiser = Active Assessor
As a Certified Residential Appraiser with experience serving several functions in the Assessor's office, I want and am able to be an active Assessor that contributes to the office's efficiency.
Over 10 Years of Experience & Leadership
5 Years Colorado Licensed & State Certified Residential Appraiser
6 Years Appraiser in the Assessors Office
3 Years Admin Clerk & Personal Property Appraiser in the Assessors Office
2 Years Admin Assistant in the Manager's Office and Clerk to the BOCC
2,500 Hours continuing education in the last 10 years, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Geography and GIS from Florida Atlantic University
10 Years Colorado Notary Public

In 2012, I founded the Summit County chapter of Together Women Rise to help locals form connections while working to achieve global gender equality.
Women of the Summit, Scholarship Program 2022 volunteer.
Sustainability Steward volunteer at 2019 Breckenridge Oktoberfest and continue to work with local waste diversion company VERT Sites to ensure the recycle stream is clean at local events.

Assessors are required to discover, classify and assess all property in their county for ad valorem valuation, or valuation for tax purposes.
Did you know that when homeowners receive their real property Notices of Value in May the value shown is almost a year old?
